There are more ways to make a difference than monetary donations. Donating one's time can be just as impactful on the lives and welfare of the children that we serve. Be a part of providing Support, Opportunity, and Hope to the children of our community by volunteering with Children's Fund.
Here are the ways that you can help:
Care Campaigns
We are reminding children suffering from poverty, abuse, and neglect that we care with campaigns throughout the year including hygiene, school supplies, dorm kits, holiday gifts and more! We are looking for volunteers who can be a campaign lead or help inventory and distribute as campaigns are received to ensure everything that comes in gets out to those in need
Events
Be a part of critical organizational support to our auxiliaries’ community fundraisers or join in the fun at our annual Children’s Fund Golf Classic. Whether you are interested in something on the front lines like registration or are more of a behind the scenes person, there is something for everyone to do to bring our events and mission to life.
Comfort Quilts
Just as the Children’s Assessment Center provides trauma-informed forensic care to over 2,000 abused children each year, hand-tied fleece blankets are created to share warmth and a sense of security. We are looking for volunteers who are willing to be a blanket lead by collecting and distributing fleece fabric or helping bring these comfort quilts to life with supplied materials and instructions for your team or in the comfort of your own home.
